Hugo Martins

Hugo has experience in all aspects of project delivery, with a concentrated skillset in construction documentation, bidding and award, and comprehensive contract administration. He is responsible for the technical delivery of projects, ensuring that design solutions meet the highest level of building science, code, and industry standards.

Clients, consultants and contractors alike appreciate Hugo’s detail-oriented and consensus-building approach to project execution. With a finely tuned attention to detail in the design of dynamic and interactive spaces, Hugo embraces each project as an opportunity to create engaging architecture.

Hugo joined the practice in 2008 after working on a significant number of school projects including kindergarten additions for the York Region and Peel District School Boards. He has made a significant impact at Gow Hastings, managing complex projects for Niagara College, including the award-winning Welland Campus Student Commons, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus Student Commons and Canadian Food & Wine Institute.
