Bio

Allan brings experience on a wide range of institutional and academic projects. He has substantial involvement with BIM (Building Information Modeling)/Revit and 3D modeling, expertise in the management of projects requiring complex design and technical planning, and a defined skillset in the coordination of Environmental and Building Systems Assessments.

Allan built his portfolio both locally and internationally, with work for Toronto-based clients including the City of Toronto, University of Toronto, and Toronto Metropolitan University. He has managed highly technical, award-winning culinary projects for higher education clients in Ontario including Conestoga College, Durham College, Fleming College and Niagara College. He recently completed student spaces for Laurentian University and the University of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto.

Internationally, he led the 80,000 square foot renovation of the Guess Jeans headquarters in Los Angeles, California; he was integral member of the design team for the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, France, and he provided furniture design for the Novartis Basel headquarters in Basel, Switzerland in collaboration with Vitra International.
